  1. Hi,

How do I get letters sent from Birkhall - do I have to write direct, or just at the right time for them to be taken from Clarence House to Birkhall. If I have to write to Birkhall what is the address please?

Also, do you know if any letters are ever sent on behalf of The Queen from Sandringham or Balmoral?

    Thanks :)

    1. You just have to write at the right time. Letters should always be sent to the Royals office. If you write to a royal residence. The letters are just collected and taken to the Royals office, where staff will answer them. This takes time so you will likely have a delay in response.

Letters only come from Royal Residences if a Royal is sending a reply personally or it's written by one of the Queen's ladies in waiting who is staying at that royal residence at the time they are writing the letter.

Yes, you can get replies from Sandringham, Balmoral, Windsor Castle, etc. I've gotten two replies from The Queen's ladies in waiting at Sandringham.

  2. Hi,
Usually how long you wait for Camilla's answer for her birthday?
    Thank you in advance!

    1. 1-2 Months is a normal response time. It's been less than a month since Camilla's birthday, so we are still in the normal response time. I haven't gotten a response for Camilla's birthday this year yet.

I got Last year's reply shortly a few weeks after birthday. But I remember I got mine, and then a few weeks latter, other people got theirs and a few weeks latter some other people get theirs.

  3. Hello, I wrote to the Duchess Camilla on July 18 for her birthday. I know I was late, but still I got nothing from her ... am I still in time to receive an answer?

    1. You weren't too late. I try to always get my letter out by the person's birthday, but even that is going to arrive late. And they understand it take time in the mail, and people often don't remember till the day of.

1-2 Months is a normal response time, and we haven't hit two months yet. So, we are still in that perfectly normal response time window.

Camilla likes to hand-sign her cards. Which is something she likely only does once every few weeks. So there will be some time between when she signs the first batch of cards, and the 2nd, 3rd. Last year I remember I got my reply and then about a month latter I saw a bunch of other people get their replies. So give it time.

    1. The Address is:

      Clarence House
      London SW1A 1BA
      UNITED KINGDOM

The Royals don't give out autographs.
Occasionally, the Duchess of Cornwall does send out personally signed notes, for her birthday and stuff.

  5. Hello Good day Thank you for your reply I have another question the Duchess of Cornwall signing greeting cards for their wedding anniversary or birthday alone? Thank you.

    1. Duchess Camilla will hand sign letters or cards for all sorts of occasions, not just her birthday or wedding anniversary. But if you just send a random letter, I would expect to get a letter from staff, not Camilla. The royals get way to much mail to hand sign everything. This is usually something special she does for her birthday.
