Sophie's Official Patronages - Elderly

Brendoncare Foundation
Patron (2002)

Brendoncare Foundation is a charity in the South of England dedicated to improving the quality of older persons lives. They run 10 care homes across the south of England, and provide a wide range of care: from end of life care, rehabilitation, residential care, respite care, etc. The foundation provides support for those who are financially unable and guarantees support for any of their residences who become financially unable to meet the cost of continued care.

The charity also runs a number of clubs for older people to allow them opportunities to socialize and get out of the house.

The Queen Mum was previously patron (1984-2002).

Morden College
Patron (2014?)

Morden College is retirement home for the elderly, in Blackheath, London. They provide provide a wide range of care for independent living, assisted living and residential care.
