Emperor Naruhito of Japan - Enthronement Ceremonies (October 2019)

The enthronement of the new Emperor of Japan will take place in October 2019, 6 months after his accession.  There are a bunch of little private ceremonies over this period, there is info on that in the press release. This post will cover the more major events.

October 22nd
  • Enthronement Ceremony at Imperial Palace*

Japan Government has confirmed that Foreign Royals will attend the Enthronement ceremonies. The Foreign Royals listed below are attending the events on October 22nd-23rd, unless otherwise noted. We have also tried to note, what else the royals are doing that trip as some have other official engagements.
