There are some Patronages of Princess Diana that no longer exist. I have not to include them in this list.

Royal Patronages often get passed between different royals. When a Royal becomes patron of a charity, it is not for life, but usually for a set amount of time (sometimes just for an Appeal, 3 years, 5 years, etc) and then possibly renewed.

  1. Does anyone know if the Prince of Wales has a favorite patronage or a handful of favorites he prefers over all the others?

    1. Prince Charles has hundreds of patronage, obviously there are going to be some where he is patron in more of name only, and others he is more hands on with. But I don't think he really has a favorite or a handful. Charles supports a broad range of causes.

But I guess one could say that the Charities that are named after him, or that he founded are likely his favorites.... But again there is a long list of those: The Prince's Trust, The British Asian Trust, The Prince's Drawing School, The Prince's Foundation for the Built Environment. etc.

Also don't forget all his work with the Duchy of Cornwall, Dumfries House, Prince of Wales's Charitable Foundation, etc.
