Camilla's Official Patronages - Arts

In an effort to kept things organized this section features only Duchess Camilla's Arts patronages. You can find links to all of her patronages here

Patron (September 2001 - Present)

Local film society in Tetbury, Gloucestershire. In addition to their regular screening, the Society holds an annual fundraising event for Cotswold Care Hospice, which Prince Charles is Patron of. 

Patron (October 2003 - 2014- Present)

St. John's Smith Square is a former church in Smith Square, London that after bombing in WWII was converted into a concert hall. The Concert Hall receives no public subsidies and relies solely on private support. St. John's Smith Square also has a Young Artists' Program which provides support and showcases promising young musicians.

Princess Margaret was previously Patron.

Patron (September 2005 - Present)

London Chamber Orchestra is the UK’s oldest professional chamber orchestra. The Orchestra received no public subsidy, relying solely on private support. 

Joint Patron with Prince Charles (October 2005 - Present)

Georgian Theatre Royal is Britain's oldest and most complete Georgian playhouses. This was Charles and Camilla's 1st joint patronage. 

Patron (2005 - Present)

Unicorn Theatre for Children is a Children's theater in London. 

President (2006 - Present)

De La Warr Pavilion is a contemporary art gallery in East Sussex.

President (2006 - Present)

Ditchling Museum is an art museum in Ditchling, East Sussex. The museum features art from local artists. 

Patron (October 2006 - Present)

Elmhurst School for Dance is the oldest vocational dance school in the UK. The school provides funding for students unable to meet the cost of training. 

Patron (April 2008 - Present)

The Theatre Royal Bath is one of Britain's oldest working theaters. In addition to the theatre's main auditorium, it has 2 other performances spaces Ustinov Studio and the Egg. The Egg is a children theater, which is used for workshops and youth theatre productions.

Camilla was also patron of the theatre's 2010 refurbishment appeal, which raised money to preserve the 200-year-old building

Patron (Janurary 2009 - Present)

The Fan Museum is the world’s only comprehensive museum devoted to Ladies’ Fan. The museum in Greenwich.

Patron (June 2010 - Present)

Carmarthen Youth Opera is a Youth Opera in Wales. It was Camilla's 1st Welsh Patronage.

Patron (2011 - Present)

East Sussex Youth Orchestra is a Youth Orchestra. In 2011, Camilla became patron for a five year period. It has not been announced whether Camila will renew this patronage. 
Joint Patron with The Prince of Wales (2011 - Present)

The Cornish Federation of Male Voice Choirs is a combination of a number of male choirs in Cornwall. They put on concerts, recitals, and workshops. They also try to promote coral signings in their community and well as promote composition and arrangements, especially for male voices. 

President (March 2012 - Present)

Amber Trust is a UK charity for musical development for blind and partially sighted youth.

Amber Trust provides grants for blind and partially sighted youth to cover the cost of music lessons, music therapy, instruments, equipment and concert tickets. The organization also funds research on the impact of music on youths development.  
Patron (July 2013- Present)

The National Youth Orchestra of Great Britain is a UK orchestra of 165 young musicians. They work to promote young people in music.
