Death of His Highness The Aga Khan IV

His Highness Prince Karim Al-Hussaini, Aga Khan IV died on Febuary 4th, 2025, at age 88. He passed away in Lisbon, Portugal surrounded by Family. 

Prince Karim Al-Hussaini was the 4th Aga Khan, a sort of islamic spiritual leader and the 49th hereditary Imam of the Shia Ismaili Muslims. The princely title comes from him being a descendant of the Kings of Persia.

Prince Karim Aga Khan was the founder and chairman of the Aga Khan Development Network.

The next Aga Khan has already been designated and will be made public with the reading of Prince Karim Al-Hussaini's will in the coming days.
