• Received General Sir Nicholas Carter upon relinquishing his appointment as Colonel Commandant of the Rifles and General Patrick Sanders upon assuming the appointment.

Monday 19th 

• Received Mr. Paul Hughes who was invested by the Queen with the Insignia of a Lieutenant of the Royal Victorian Order

Wednesday 22nd

• Attend The Rifles military ceremony at Windsor Castle, before stepping down as Colonel-in-Chief.
• Meet with Assistant Colonel Commandant of the Riffles, Major General Tom Copinger-Symes
