Royal Attendance at Armistice Day Service at the National Memorial Arboretum (2001-Present)

On Remembrance Day each year (Nov 11th), the annual Armistice Service is held at the National Memorial Arboretum in Alrewas. There has been a royal in attendance every year in recent years. The first service was held in 2001.

Below are charts of Royal Attendance at the Remembrance Sunday service at the Cenotaph which takes place on the 2nd Sunday in November.

When 3 Balconies are Used:
  • B1 - Center Balcony (Light Blue)
  • B2 - Right Balcony  (Medium Blue)
  • B3 - Left Balcony (Dark Blue)
When 2 Balconies are Used:
  • B1 - Right Balcony (Light Blue)
  • B2 - Center Balcony  (Medium Blue)
Yellow box, took the salute at the March Past at Horseguard Parade later in the day. 

Which Royal is on which balcony depends on how people there are, the number of balconies being used, and the order of precedence.

2022 - Duchess Sophie was not yet a duchess in 2022, as her husband had not yet been given the title Duke of Edinburgh. 
2023 - The Duke of Kent was not announced to attend this event. But he did cancel his attendance at the Festival of Remembrance the night before due to mobility issues. 
2024 - Queen Camilla canceled due to Chest Infection.
