The Invictus Games was started by the UK Ministry of Defense. And the countries invited to the first games in 2014 were those who had participated with the UK in recent military action.

“Unconquered” - is used for team events where the members are made up of people from multiple countries.
I think you mean Invictus was started with help of the UK Ministry of Defence. If they did start it why did they let it go?
