Theme
- 2021 - The service was "to celebrate the incredible work of individuals and organisations across the nation who go above and beyond to support their communities."
- 2022 - The service paid tribute to the late Queen Elizabeth II.
- 2023 - The service "will be a moment to thank all those who work to support babies, young children and families in our communities across the UK and a celebration of the golden opportunity that the birth of a new baby brings."
- 2024 - The service “provides a moment to reflect upon the importance of love and empathy, and how much we need each other, especially in the most difficult times of our lives.“
- Kindness Tree - guests were invited to write the names of people who have shown them kindness over the last year on decorations which were hung on a Christmas tree.
- 2025 - The service's theme is "love in all its forms." The service included homage to The Duchess of Kent, who passed away earlier in the year.
