The Denmark Palace has re-released four official portraits for use in connection with the Abdication. The photos are a few years/months old and were initially released for other occasions.
The photo of Queen Margrethe was taken in 2021, and was released in Nov 2021 to mark her then upcoming Golden Jubilee. The photo was taken in the Dome Hall, at Fredensborg Castle by Per Morten Abrahamsen.

The photo of Crown Prince Frederik & Crown Princess Mary was released in January 2022 ahead of Crown Princess Mary's 50th Birthday. The photo was taken by Hasse Nielsen at the couple's home Frederik VIII's Palace at Amalienborg.
The solo photo of Crown Prince Frederik was from the same set.
The photo of Prince Christian was taken as part of the set of official photographs for Prince Christian's 18th Birthday in October 2023. The photo was taken by Dennis Stenild in in the Hall of Knights in Frederik VIII's Palace at Amalienborg.
