            1. Hi Gert! You forgot to include Meghan's first solo engagement to the Oceania exhibition. By the way, congrats for this great blog.

              1. I didn't forget. I've just gotten a little behind on updating the different lists of engagements.

            2. Why did you leave off Meghan's and Harry's private visit to the Hubb Community Kitchen on the 20th December?

            3. Why do private visits to things like the Hubb kitchen and the memorial for Harry's friend count as official royal work?? In any objective sense, these are being included to pump up the numbers to make Meghan and the others look better and busier. Were they included in the Court Circular?

            4. I find it surprising to see what events count in the young royals' calendars. The reception after Invictus?? The Queen's birthday party?? So when I go to my grandmother's birthday party, I can charge someone cause it's work? Wimbledom? Why is this? Most of these events are social events, not cutting ribbons or visiting hospitals. How about a count of real work events, not these glamorous Hamilton plays and the like.

              1. These aren't social events, even though they may seem fun, they are working. The "Queen's Birthday Party" Concert at Royal Albert Hall, was a charity event for The Queen's Commonwealth Trust. The Hamilton play supported Sentebale.

Events like this seem glamorous, and they are, but they are also huge fundraisers. The Sentebale Polo match this year raised over 1 Million pounds. Ribbon cuttings & hospital visits are good and they do plenty of them. But, they don't raise funds like a glamorous reception.
