Suggested Charities to Donate to in honor of Sussex Royal Baby

In lieu of sending gifts, the Sussexs have asked well-wishers to make a charitable donation in honor of the birth of their 1st child. They have suggested four charities that support children and parents in need:

The Lunch Box Fund

The Lunch Box Fund is an US Charity that provides a nutritious daily school meal to children in South Africa who would otherwise go hungry. This meal encourages children to attend school and helps them concentrate and perform better. The charity has provided over 20 million meals to date.

The charity was founded in 2005 by model Topaz Page-Green

Little Villiage HQ

Little Village HQ is a UK Charity, based in London, that provides clothing, toys, and essentials for babies and children up to age 5. Duchess Meghan was first introduced to the organization in December 2018. The Sussexs have made a number of private contributions to the charity in the last few months.

The charity was founded in 2016.

WellChild

WellChild is a UK Charity that provides practical and emotional support to seriously ill children, young people and their families. The charity also funds projects and research, & promotes new health, education and social care policy.

Prince Harry has been patron of WellChild since March 2007. It was one of his first patronages.

You can find a complete list of Harry's Patronage here.

Baby2baby

Baby 2 Baby is a US Charity based in Los Angeles, California. The charity provides children ages 0-12 living in poverty with diapers, toys and other the necessities.
