Notre Dame Cathedral in Paris, France burned down 2019. After years of repairs, the cathedral is re-opening December 2024.
The reopening service, presided over by the Archbishop of Paris, will take place on Saturday, December 7th. The service will be held in the late afternoon, in the presence of the President of the Republic, officials, donors, representatives of all the parishes of Paris, members of the cathedral chapter, and the Parisian clergy.
The service will be followed by a broadcast produced by France TV, aired globally from the cathedral’s forecourt.
