Royal Ascot:
Royal Ascot is a week of races at Ascot Racecourse. Royal Ascot takes place the Tuesday-Saturday after the Order of Garter Service. Each day of Royal Ascot is attended by a handful of members of the Royal Family and extended family. Queen Elizabeth used to attend all 5 days.
Each day begins with a carriage procession, at 2:00 PM, with select members of
the Royal Family and special guests. The Royals & Guests in the carriage
are usually those attending the Monarch’s pre-ascot lunch at Windsor Castle.
(Part of why someone may not be in the carriage procession is because they had
other Pre-ascot plans. )
