Ascot Racecourse:
Ascot is a racecourse located in Ascot, Berkshire, England. It is 15 minutes from Windsor Castle. The Racecourse was opened by Queen Anne in 1711. Queen Elizabeth II reopened the racecourse in 2006 after renovations to the grandstand.

Royal Ascot:
Royal Ascot is a week of races at Ascot Racecourse. Royal Ascot takes place the Tuesday-Saturday after the Order of Garter Service. Each day of Royal Ascot is attended by a handful of members of the Royal Family and extended family. Queen Elizabeth used to attend all 5 days.

Each day begins with a carriage procession, at 2:00 PM, with select members of the Royal Family and special guests. The Royals & Guests in the carriage are usually those attending the Monarch’s pre-ascot lunch at Windsor Castle. (Part of why someone may not be in the carriage procession is because they had other Pre-ascot plans. )

Each year's page on "Royals Attending" lists the Trophies presented by Royals. Below looks at a few specific trophies and who has presented it:
      Dress Code:
Royal Ascot has a strict dress code for men and women, that vary depending on the enclosure. All the Royals will be in Royal Enclosure. Details on Dress Code can be found here: https://www.ascot.co.uk/royal-ascot-style-guide

The Royal Enclosure does not allow hats/hair pieces with a base less than 4 Inches (AKA fascinator). Nor does it allow fancy dress (costumes) or novelty clothes/hats.
