Sultan Qaboos of Oman passed away on Friday, January 10th, with the official announcement of his death and funeral the next day. There are 3 days of official mourning (Jan 12th-14th). Most Royals will attend only one day.

          The World Economic Forum is an international non-govermental organization. The foundation's stated mission is "improving the state of the world by engaging business, political, academic, and other leaders of society to shape global, regional, and industry agendas"

          The WEF hold a number of meetings throughout the year in various countries. The WEF's annual meeting is held each January in Davos, Switzerland. The event is attended by top business leaders, international political leaders, economists, celebrities, and journalists, where they discusses the most pressing issues facing the world. The meeting is by invitation only.

          The 2020 Olympics will take place in Japan and feature Summer sports. The event has been postponed until 2021, due to the Coronavirus Outbreak.
